Alexandra Keleti of Kansas currently studies accounting as a graduate student at the University of Kansas School of Business. Keleti’s studies include a variety of subjects, from data visualization and analytics, auditing and business law to accounting theory, managerial accounting, and more.

Keleti has been a dedicated student in the KU Master of Accounting program since 2020. Prior to entering the program, Keleti earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) at KU. Her undergrad tenure began in 2015.

Following her student career, Keleti looks to pursue a career in the field of auditing and to broaden her experience across a number of industries.
2019 Internship
During her KU undergraduate tenure, Alexandra Keleti of Kansas enjoyed a successful, summer-long internship at the Overland Park-based Sprint Corporate headquarters. Officially an IT Sourcing and Asset Management intern, Keleti completed her internship for the telecommunications giant during the company’s preparations for merger with T-Mobile, a major competitor at the time.

Keleti credits the 2019 internship as “pivotal” and an “amazing educational experience,” one that exposed her to the many career possibilities within the field of finance, and which, ultimately, steered her toward the pursuit of a Master of Accounting degree. During her internship, Keleti enjoyed a number of duties, most notably the submission of SOWs, trial agreements, and other contracts to different companies, and the completion of software renewals.

Keleti’s performance as an intern eventually earned her a job offer within the company’s corporate finance department, a position she accepted and served in briefly. In this role, Keleti oversaw communications with landlords of various cell towers while developing proficiency with a number of specialized web programs.
Childhood & Community Giving
Alexandra Keleti is originally from the Kansas City area, having spent her childhood growing up in the city’s suburbs. Keleti developed a love for classical music at an early age, a passion inspired and fostered by her parents.

It was also during this time that Keleuti cultivated an appreciation of personal hobbies, particularly their role and influence on one’s personal well-being. Though Keleti’s initial hobby centered on playing musical instruments, her interests would eventually evolve into a love and pursuit of needlework-related crafts.

In addition to an ongoing love of hobbies, Keleti has a passion for giving back, rooted in years of volunteer work at her local library throughout her youth. As a library volunteer, Keleti completed various tasks, including sorting and shelving books in the facility.
